Their African pioneer work, begun in Uganda in 1952, earned their designation the following year as the first Knights of Bahá'u'lláh. The papers contain correspondence with other pioneers, Africans and California friends ; programs ; and extensive photographs and notebooks. The Archives has an unpublished inventory.
