500 | _aMy work however does not purport to represent an official Bahá’í standpoint on the unique principle of a universal auxiliary language. Presentations on the history, central Figures and institutions of both movements are provided together with accounts of personal teaching experiences and adventures. I strive to reach Bahá’ís, Esperantists and all seekers of truth. Shoghi Effendi’s authoritative introduction to the Bahá’í Faith is included (pp6-17) as are Dr. Zamenhof’s depictions of Bahá’ís, ‘Abdu’l-Bahá and of Esperantism. (pp19-27) Bahá’í prayers appear (pp130-136) as do definitive accounts of the Bahá’í principles penned by ‘Abdu’l-Bahá (pp95-102) and by the Universal House of Justice (pp107-118). Sundry travel-teacher anecdotes, poetry and humour are interspersed in an attempt to add variety and to steer away from an overly academic look. Primarily of course my book attempts to live up to its weighty title. | ||
