".is a moving account of the early days of the Baha'i Faith in California, days highlighted by the visit in 1912 of 'Abdu'l-Baha, the son of the Prophet-Founder of the Baha'i Faith. The author speaks from a unique vantage point, for she was one of the earliest Bahai'is in th San Francisco area and thus witnessed some of the first stirring of the Baha'i Faith in California. Drawing on her own recollections and on letters and notes gathered over the years, she takes the reader back to those early days."
