This collection of essays is dedicated to Dr. Amin Banani, Professor Emeritus of Persian Literature and History at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). The essays collected in this book deal, in various forms, with the intrinsic relationship between history and literature in classical and modern Persian literature and Persianate cultural history.
