dr Huschang Rohani was born on March 21, 1940 in Najafabad, Persia. Due to his family's Baháí religious affiliation, he was a victim of discrimination, violence and humiliation from an early age. When he was six his father died and the family became impoverished. In 1959 he came to Graz, where he started a carpet business alongside his mineralogy studies. His exhibition at Kornberg Castle is known across borders, and his exclusive oriental carpets are in demand throughout the country. In 2019 he decided to write a book about his exciting life to inculcate courage, spirituality, but also a bit of common sense in the readers.

Als Huschang Rohani 1959 mit dem Zug in Graz ankam, besaß er nicht mehr als einen kindersarggroßen Koffer. Keine Wohnung, keine Arbeit und keine Sprachkenntnisse. Doch er hatte ein Ziel: Er wollte im Westen Mineralogie studieren.
