Agama Minoritas Ditengah Kota Studi Eksisitensi Agama Baha’i di Surabaya

This study berwal of interest investigators about the Baha'i religion in Surabaya, where Baha'i is not widely known by the public when the Baha'i religion has spread across several regions in Indonesia. In Surabaya Baha'i followers in several East Pucanganom, Tandes Kidul and manuan. Therefore, the issues examined in this thesis are: 1) How Ahmadiyah Baha'i in Surabaya ?; 2) How is the Baha'i followers maintain existence is in Surabaya? While the purpose of this study: 1) to determine the existence of its Baha'i in Surabaya; 2) to maintain Existence mengetahaui Baha'i followers in Surabaya. To answer these problems researchers using research methods kuliatatif with research subjects using snowball sampling, the phases of research that pralapangan phase, phase field, the stage of data analysis and report writing phase. In qualitative research data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, documentation, online data pustakadan studies. The theory used AGIL Talcott Parson. AGIL Talcott Parson focus more on the changes and the continuity of the system. Society as a social system according to at least parson has four functions for a particular action system or system requirements. That function is essential to the social system can work properly. The fourth function is called AGIL. Thus it can be concluded existence of the Baha'i religion in Surabaya well known by the people, for the people who are familiar with the Baha'i Faith can understand the existence of the Baha'i religion in their area. Baha'i followers there are two or three reasons they Baha'i religion, 1. Because hereditary or the doctrine of the family, 2. own choice, 3. Doctrine or the influence of friends. Keberdaan followers of Baha'i and not disputed by the community. People can accept their existence and can establish social relations with both. Ahmadiyah maintain the Baha'i religion with no means 1. Hold children classes 2. Discussions with other religious communities 3. Invite Baha'i community event.
