Die Intention des Buches ist es, dem Leser das historische Umfeld dieser Offenbarungen nahezubringen, also die politische, kulturelle, wirtschaftliche und religiöse Lage des Irán sowie die Einmischung der westlichen Mächte und den Ausverkauf des Landes an sie; This book is a contribution to Oriental-Western cultural understanding. It deals with the history of Irán from 1796 to 1925 i.e. the Qájáren dynasty until the rise of Ridá Khán. An important part of this story is the Bábí and Bahá'í revelations that took place during this time.

The intention of the book is to make the reader familiar with the historical environment of these revelations, i.e. the political, cultural, economic and religious situation of Irán, as well as the interference of the Western powers and the sale of the country to them
