'Abdu'l-Baha

Some Answered Questions Collected and translated from the Persian by Laura Clifford Barney. Newly revised by a Committee at the Baha'i World Centre - xx, 383 p. Index.

Laura Clifford Barney visited `Abdu'l-Bahá in the Holy Land between 1904 and 1906, putting to him a variety of questions on Christian, philosophical and doctrinal subjects. The answers, which `Abdu'l-Bahá gave "in my tired moments", make one of the unique volumes of scripture in the corpus of the world's religious literature. Some passages quoted from Baha'u'llah have been changed to reflect authorized translations. This is a new translation from the Bahá'í World Centre.
