Abstract: Study of `Abdu'l-Baha's talks delivered durng his 1912 North American tour. It was the purpose of this investigation (1) to recreate the historical setting in which the addresses took place, (2) to analyze the content of the addresses and the method of presentation, (3) to estimate the nature and extent of the influence of these addresses.
