Abstract: The Bahá'í administrative institutions - the instruments for channelling the spiritual dynamics of the Bahá'í Faith, were ordained by Bahá'u'lláh, elaborated by `Abdu'l-Bahá, and finally brought into existence by Shoghi Effendi. This collection of messages to the American Bahá'ís and their national institutions, outlines the foundations on which the administrative institutions were established. Appended to this edition are three of the "world order" letters and the declaration of trust and by-laws.
