Why did God put us on earth instead of heaven? Why should the first step of our eternal journey begin with a physical experience? If we are, in essence, spiritual beings, why are we given a body?This world is a “testing station,” where we make a brief stop on our way to God’s “many mansions in heaven.” The test is designed to be tough, and yet it is offered on many levels. Here we can choose the grade that will determine our everlasting destiny hereafter. We have a choice to keep taking and failing introductory courses, or work hard to graduate with honors.
