This study provides an insight into some key methodological and structural components of this work, such as the role of reason, freedom of conscience and the relationship between revelation, humanity and ethics. Such basic considerations provide the context and background for the discussion of ethical sexual positions that are found in the Kitab-i-Aqdas, Bahá'u'lláh's book of the law. The text published here is based on two lectures in August 2010. Schaefer does not shy to subject social developments of a radical value analysis. Critical issues he identifies openly and bluntly
