Abstract: Sixteen important tablets, revealed by Baha'ullah after the fundamental laws of his dispensation were announced in the Aqdas, and supplementary to that book, are collected here. Several had been translated into English on the instructions of 'Abdu'l-Baha and published in 1917 (see 1.133). It became clear, after the appearance of Shoghi Effendi's incomparable translations, that these early renderings could be improved upon. Therefore the Universal House of Justice commissioned this volume containing new authorized translations. Corrected, with excellent index.
