Contributor(s): Material type: TextTextSubject(s): Online resources: In: The Journal of Bahá'í Studies 3, 15-24Abstract: Examines the nature of the claims of exclusivity in Christianity. Differing interpretations of certain scriptural passages have led to conflicts within the church and also between Christianity and other faiths. A Bahá'í approach is offered to reconcile these conflicts. The language of the Gospels is examined using insights gained from the Bahá'í writings and from contemporary Christian thinking. This perspective in the context of progressive revelation provides a rational framework on which similar issues in other religions can be approached.
