Es el caso del Báb (1819-1850), un persa universal que prefiguró muchos de los procesos que están hoy conduciendo a la familia humana hacia su unificación preservando su diversidad cultural. El Báb, conocido como la Puerta, inició en 1844 una revolución espiritual y moral en Asia Central que resultó tener consecuencias sencillamente incalculables para el resto del mundo, por cuanto hizo de precursora de una nueva manera de entender y practicar la espiritualidad, a lo largo y ancho del globo: la que la humanidad del siglo XXI necesita conforme a nuestras actuales exigencias racionales y modernas de hoy.
