General note Entre 1911 y 1913 ‘Abdu’l-Bahá emprendió una serie de viajes por occidente en los que fue invitado a conferenciar para multitud de organizaciones, universidades e iglesias. Desde esos foros defendió la igualdad de géneros, proclamó la unicidad del género humano, levantó su voz contra el racismo y el nacionalismo, clamó sin paliativos a favor de la paz como único medio posible para el progreso humano y llamó a las religiones a unirse y trabajar por la concordia.

Formatted contents note Between 1911 and 1913 'Abdu'l-Bahá undertook a series of trips to the West in which he was invited to lecture for a multitude of organizations, universities and churches. From these forums, he defended gender equality, proclaimed the uniqueness of the human race, raised his voice against racism and nationalism, cried unreservedly in favor of peace as the only possible means for human progress, and called on religions to unite and work for harmony.
