Summary, etc. A research into the root of morality in the Psyche, using data proceeding from the Bahá’í Scriptures, have guided the author to discover the two primary motives in human life: Primum Movens Oblatio (altruistic) and Primum Movens Ipse-Protectio (egoistic). This has permitted the formulation of a new Psychological Theory of Ethics, with some applied corollaries: Ethics and Economics; and Ethics and Politics.
