In questa raccolta di articoli e testi di conferenze dell’islamista Alessandro Bausani, il lettore potrà seguire un percorso ideale che, partendo dall’esposizione di un concetto nuovo di religione, muove attraverso tappe successive come la presentazione della Fede bahá’í al mondo occidentale, una dotta spiegazione del linguaggio dei testi della nuova Fede, brevi commenti di alcuni suoi testi e l’illustrazione di alcuni dei suoi più importanti insegnamenti come, ad esempio, l’equilibrio fra scienza e religione e l’unità delle religioni.
