| Summary, etc. | Bahíyyih Khánum, the daughter of Bahá'u'lláh and sister of `Abdu'l-Bahá, lived a saintly life and was devoted to her brother and to Shoghi Effendi. Immediately after the death of `Abdu'l-Bahá, Shoghi Effendi went into seclusion for several months. He entrusted the affairs of the Bahá'í community to this beloved aunt. Included in the compilation are letters to and about Bahíyyih Khánum from Bahá'u'lláh, `Abdu'l-Bahá and Shoghi Effendi ; the large portion of the work is Bahíyyih Khánum's own letters. |
