Monika Ahlkvist Mackenzie was born in Sweden in 1962 and came to Australia in 1969. Monika has always had a love of drawing. She started teaching Baha'i classes in 1987 at a local school and focused delivering the lessons using art and craft activities. She found that children loved classes that were able to deliver spiritual ideas in classes that contained a lot of creativity. Very early on she wanted to improve the content to make the education process more interesting and enjoyable. It is with great joy that she is able to make these books available to help parents and teachers enrich the spiritual education of children. Monika is married and lives out in the countryside. She has four adult children, and seven grandchildren.
