The Maid of Heaven, the Image of Sophia, and the Logos : Personification of the Spirit of God in Scripture and Sacred Literature
The Logos in Christiantiy and the Maiden who personified the Spirit of God within Bahá'u'lláh can be equated as one and the same eternal reality. Christians have often noted the similarities between the Logos and the personified image of wisdom (Sophia) in Proverbs and the deuterocanonical books. This article examines some of the corollaries among these three expressions of divine emanation.
