A few years after the Young Turks freed him from imprisonment, in August 1910 , 'Abdu'l-Bahá, boarded a ship for Egypt’s Port Said and left the Holy Land for the first time in forty years. He'd told told no one of his plans. From Egypt, he sailed to Europe and America to spread the Baha’i teachings, returning 1913. He remained in Egypt for a few months to recuperate from his journeys. This book is the complete published record of The Master in Egypt, reported in loving detail by the Baha’is who were with him. Included are accounts of his meetings with the believers and Egyptian dignitaries, accounts of his conversations and public talks, and provisional translations of the Tablets he wrote to the Baha’is of Iran. It's an incredible treasure trove of writings and stories of 'Abdu'l-Bahá published in one volume for the first time.
